Port Charlotte is gedistilleerd bij Bruichladdich op het eiland Islay.
Aromas of fresh, astringent, herbal peat intermingled with white peach, pear and apple. Subtle sweet barley apricot and unsweetened honey. Lovely intensity with a nasal coating hit of salt, bog myrtle, malt and honeysuckle.
The palate displays plenty of waxy/ oily apricot, banana skin and honey but subtler peat. Hints of bog myrtle, seaweed, white chocolate, barley, vanilla, menthol, sweet ginger, cinnamon and salt. Breathtaking intensity with a long, salty, mentholated finish.
